2026 MLB Wild Card Series Overview

Only one team has never made it to the Wild Card Round of the MLB Playoffs since the inception of this round in 2012. The Los Angeles Angels are the owner of this ignominious distinction, as their only playoff appearance since 2009 came when they finished atop the American League during the 2014 regular season.
