NCAAF Week 10 Predictions: Odds, Games & Best Bets

Miami gets its toughest road assignment yet, Utah hosts BYU, and the SEC sends several contenders into difficult November matchups. Our college football predictions this week focus on November 3–7, with No. 1 Miami at No. 4 Notre Dame leading Saturday's schedule. No. 2 Georgia visits No. 12 Ole Miss, while No. 9 Alabama travels to No. 15 LSU.

The best college football picks require more than choosing the higher-ranked team. Miami is an underdog despite its unbeaten record, and Alabama faces a defense capable of disrupting its passing game. Utah has the rushing advantage against BYU, but its spread leaves little margin for a close rivalry finish.

All college football odds below come from Betcris Arizona and can change before kickoff. AP Top 25 rankings identify the teams, while ESPN's Football Power Index adds another measure of strength. The preferred wagers are Miami with the points and the Alabama-LSU under, with Miami also offering an outright upset opportunity.

Top College Football Games This Week

The college football schedule offers championship stakes from noon through prime time Saturday. These college football games bring together playoff hopefuls, conference contenders and rivals with little separating their seasons.

Ranked Matchups

Rankings are from the AP Top 25. All times are Eastern.

Matchup Kickoff Network
No. 7 BYU at No. 3 Utah Noon ABC
No. 10 Texas at No. 19 Missouri Noon ESPN
No. 9 Alabama at No. 15 LSU 3:30 p.m. ABC
No. 8 Kentucky at No. 16 Tennessee 6:15 p.m. ESPN
No. 1 Miami at No. 4 Notre Dame 7:30 p.m. NBC
No. 2 Georgia at No. 12 Ole Miss 7:30 p.m. ABC

Miami-Notre Dame leads the national picture, pairing the unbeaten Hurricanes with an Irish team trying to avoid a second loss. BYU-Utah could change the Big 12 championship race, while the SEC matchups test contenders with little room for another defeat. Alabama and LSU each enter with two losses, making their meeting particularly important for preserving playoff hopes through the final month.

Conference Showdowns

Utah enters 5-0 in Big 12 play, with BYU and Texas Tech each 4-1. A Cougars victory would pull Utah back toward the chasing teams and complicate the championship race. Texas Tech hosts West Virginia later Saturday.

Georgia and Kentucky are both 5-1 in SEC games. Alabama and Ole Miss are 4-2, while LSU, Texas and Missouri are 3-2. That makes Saturday consequential well beyond the national rankings. Teams pursuing a championship-game berth cannot afford to treat these meetings as isolated opportunities to improve their overall records.

Rivalry Games to Watch

BYU-Utah carries the strongest combination of rivalry intensity and championship importance. Both teams have already established themselves nationally, so this meeting has consequences beyond bragging rights. Utah hosts at Rice-Eccles Stadium, where BYU must handle a difficult road environment.

Michigan State also visits Michigan at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on Peacock. The Wolverines are favored by 13.5 points at Betcris Arizona. Air Force visits Army at the same time on CBS, with Army favored by 4.5. Those games offer very different spreads, but both deserve attention on a Saturday packed with familiar opponents.

College Football Weekly Predictions

These college football predictions favor Miami, Utah, LSU and Georgia in the featured games. Our college football picks separate the expected result from whether the NCAAF spread or moneyline warrants backing.

Game-by-Game Predictions

Miami wins at Notre Dame. The Hurricanes' passing attack gets the narrow nod against a defense allowing 13.4 points per game. Their 26.1 FPI rating is nearly level with Notre Dame's 26.8, making this a much closer team-strength comparison than the underdog price might suggest.

Utah beats BYU. Utah's rushing production and home field are the deciding factors. The Utes average 226.9 rushing yards, giving them another way to sustain drives when their passing game stalls.

LSU defeats Alabama. The Tigers' defensive pressure offers the clearest matchup advantage. Alabama allows 2.9 sacks per game, while LSU generates 4.2. That threatens the visitors' ability to develop longer throws.

Georgia wins at Ole Miss. Georgia averages 5.9 yards per rush, and the Rebels allow 148.9 rushing yards per game. That gives the Bulldogs a path to control possessions without requiring Gunner Stockton to carry the offense through the air. Ole Miss counters with a 37.1-point scoring average and an unbeaten home record, making a close Georgia victory more likely than a comfortable road win.

Upset Alerts

Miami is the primary upset selection. Its offense can win without relying on a sudden burst of turnovers, although Notre Dame's defense makes this the Hurricanes' toughest scoring test.

Kentucky is another credible threat at Tennessee. The Wildcats beat Texas A&M, South Carolina, LSU and Oklahoma during their current six-game winning streak. Their success includes difficult conference opponents, rather than just favorable scheduling. Tennessee still deserves respect at home, but Kentucky's road wins make an outright challenge believable. That possibility is separate from deciding whether to take the 6.5 points.

Score Predictions

Game Projected score
Miami at Notre Dame Miami 30, Notre Dame 27
BYU at Utah Utah 27, BYU 20
Alabama at LSU LSU 27, Alabama 20
Georgia at Ole Miss Georgia 30, Ole Miss 27

Miami's projection reflects a difficult defensive test. LSU's pressure supports limiting Alabama's scoring. Utah's projected margin provides little room against its spread. Georgia's rushing advantage earns the outright nod, but Ole Miss should keep the game close at home.

Point Spreads

Matchup Underdog Favorite
Miami at Notre Dame Miami +5.5 Notre Dame -5.5
BYU at Utah BYU +5.5 Utah -5.5
Alabama at LSU Alabama +4.5 LSU -4.5
Georgia at Ole Miss Ole Miss +3.5 Georgia -3.5
Texas at Missouri Missouri +3.5 Texas -3.5
Kentucky at Tennessee Kentucky +6.5 Tennessee -6.5

The Georgia and Texas spreads require a four-point victory to cover. Miami and BYU receive protection through a five-point defeat. Ohio State also gives Oregon 9.5 points, while UCLA lays 6.5 at Minnesota. Both favorites face unranked conference opponents.

Moneyline Odds

Miami is +164, with Notre Dame -200. BYU is +164 with Utah at -200. Alabama returns +155, while LSU costs -188. Georgia is -150 against Ole Miss while the Rebels are +125.

Texas is -150 at Missouri, whose moneyline is +125. Kentucky offers +176 against Tennessee at -215. The underdog payouts deserve comparison with the actual matchup, rather than the AP ranking alone. A higher-ranked visitor can still be priced as an underdog when the opponent has home field and comparable underlying strength.

Over/Under Totals

Matchup Total
Miami at Notre Dame 57.5
BYU at Utah 45.5
Alabama at LSU 52.5
Georgia at Ole Miss 56.5

Miami-Notre Dame has the highest total among the featured games, while BYU-Utah is substantially lower. Those numbers create different requirements for an over bet. Georgia-Ole Miss needs 57 combined points to go over, and our projection lands right on that number. That small difference is insufficient for a total recommendation. Alabama-LSU offers a stronger case for fewer points because LSU's pressure directly challenges Alabama's protection.

Best College Football Bets This Week

Our college football best bets focus on Miami's ability to compete in South Bend and LSU's defensive pressure. These college football betting picks offer stronger support than the other featured wagers.

Best Spread Bets

Miami +5.5 at Notre Dame is the preferred spread play. Miami's 60.8 rushing yards allowed per game should make Notre Dame work harder to establish its ground attack. That increases the importance of the Irish passing game and helps the Hurricanes stay within reach.

Notre Dame also defends the run well, allowing 85.4 yards per game. Miami's 332.4 passing yards per game give the visitors a productive alternative when rushing lanes close. That balance supports taking the points against a strong defense.

Our three-point Miami victory provides an 8.5-point cushion against the spread. Georgia, Utah and LSU remain outright selections, with insufficient separation between their projected margins and the points they must lay.

Best Moneyline Picks

Miami +164 is the best moneyline opportunity. The payout requires a win rate of approximately 37.9% to break even. Our outright selection rests on Miami's offensive strength and competitive FPI rating.

The spread offers more protection, so it remains the first choice. The moneyline is an alternative for bettors willing to accept the greater risk of needing an outright victory. Betting both increases exposure to the same game. Georgia remains an outright prediction rather than a moneyline recommendation. Its rushing advantage is offset by a road assignment against an Ole Miss offense capable of keeping pace.

Best Totals Bets

Alabama-LSU under 52.5 (-110) is the strongest totals play. LSU allows 16.0 points per game, and its ability to pressure Alabama offers a reason to expect stalled possessions. The projected 47 points leave a 5.5-point cushion beneath the total.

The main danger is LSU's offense creating a faster-scoring game than expected. Short fields would also threaten the under, particularly if pressure produces turnovers rather than punts.

Miami-Notre Dame and BYU-Utah do not offer comparable separation from their totals. Georgia-Ole Miss also stays off the totals card. A score projection should help test a wager, but a small numerical difference alone does not establish value.

Games With the Biggest Betting Value

College football betting value depends on what the number allows a team to do. These college football betting picks deserve attention for their specific prices, rather than their ranking alone.

Underdogs Worth Backing

Miami's +5.5 allows several paths to cashing beyond the outright upset. A field-goal defeat or a five-point loss still covers. That matters against an Irish team with the better FPI rating and home field.

Kentucky +6.5 is worth examining, but the Wildcats' 13.0 FPI rating trails Tennessee's 16.7. Their better AP position does not establish that they should be favored. Their recent victories make them a credible challenger, while the rating gap and venue explain why the offered points are important to the betting discussion.

Favorite Teams Worth Laying Points

No favorite makes the spread card this week. Georgia has the rushing advantage, but Ole Miss scores 37.1 points per game and has won all four home games. That is enough resistance to avoid laying 3.5.

Utah's projected seven-point victory clears its spread by only 1.5 points. LSU's projected margin exceeds its number by 2.5. Both have reasons to win, but neither offers enough cushion to justify a strong spread recommendation.

Trap Games

Boise State -17.5 at Colorado State deserves caution after Maddux Madsen's knee injury. His Week 10 availability remains unresolved, leaving uncertainty at quarterback before Boise State tries to cover a large road spread.

Florida State -7.5 at Boston College also carries uncertainty after injuries to Quintrevion Wisner and Duce Robinson. Boston College's points cost -140, so even backing the home underdog involves an expensive spread price. Neither game becomes attractive merely because the favorite has the more recognizable program.

Teams Trending Up and Down

The college football rankings reward wins, but evaluating college football teams also requires separating sustained improvement from one encouraging result.

Teams on Winning Streaks

Utah has won its first eight games and covered seven, combining consistent results with success against expectations. Kentucky has six consecutive victories after its loss to Alabama. Miami remains unbeaten, although its latest wins have included defensive difficulties. Among NCAA football teams, those distinctions matter: an undefeated record can coexist with weaknesses that become more significant against better opponents.

Teams Losing Momentum

Ohio State's 30-18 road loss to USC changes the tone before Oregon arrives. Nebraska also lost at home, falling 17-10 to Washington before its Friday trip to Illinois. Neither defeat proves a lasting decline, but both favorites face pressure to respond. The Buckeyes remain No. 2 in FPI despite falling to No. 11 in the AP poll, illustrating the different purposes of those rankings.

Injury Updates

Utah's Wayshawn Parker missed the second half against Cincinnati with a quad contusion. His Week 10 availability remains uncertain. Arizona receiver R.J. Mosley is expected to miss significant time with a knee injury. South Carolina's Matthew Fuller needs ankle surgery and is likely out for the season. Georgia's Isiah Canion missed the Florida game, and his availability for Ole Miss remains unclear.

Players to Watch This Week

The featured college football players face specific tests in protection, passing and finishing drives. These NCAA football players could shape results.

Quarterbacks to Watch

Miami's Darian Mensah faces Notre Dame after throwing three touchdowns without an interception against North Carolina. Opposing quarterback CJ Carr must exploit opportunities against Miami's pass defense. Utah's Devon Dampier threw three touchdowns against Cincinnati, but also an interception. His decisions matter against BYU in a game where a short field could undo a strong defensive series. Sam Leavitt's passing gives LSU another route to victory if Alabama limits the running game.

Impact Playmakers

Malachi Toney caught the late nine-yard touchdown that gave Miami its decisive scoring margin against North Carolina. Mark Fletcher Jr. also contributed as a runner and receiver. Georgia's Nate Frazier gained 67 rushing yards against Florida. His ability to finish drives matters at Ole Miss, where the Bulldogs need to turn sustained possessions into touchdowns rather than settle repeatedly for field goals.

Defensive Difference-Makers

Miami's Marquise Lightfoot forced the fumble that Justin Scott recovered against North Carolina, showing how pressure can rescue a struggling defense. Georgia linebacker Chris Cole returned a fumble 66 yards for a touchdown against Florida. Both can influence field position, but neither team's projection depends on repeating a defensive score.

Factors Behind Our Weekly Picks

Our college football analysis weighs venue, protection and opponent quality. These college football betting tips explain why identical records can produce different recommendations.

Home-Field Advantage

LSU is 5-0 at home, while Ole Miss is 4-0. Those records strengthen the challenges facing Alabama and Georgia, although they do not erase individual matchup advantages. Notre Dame hosts Miami in South Bend, and Utah hosts BYU in Salt Lake City. These are true home games. Central Michigan-Eastern Michigan, by contrast, takes place at Ford Field in Detroit.

Turnover Matchups

Georgia forced four Florida turnovers and converted them into 17 points. That helped produce a comfortable final margin despite limited passing output. Pressure is a useful strength to carry forward, but another four-takeaway performance cannot be assumed. Miami similarly benefited from a decisive forced fumble at North Carolina. Our projections allow for conventional scoring drives rather than requiring another timely defensive touchdown.

Strength of Schedule

BYU's 28-24 victory over Notre Dame is more informative for this week than its 63-7 opening win over Utah Tech. The Cougars have already beaten a major contender. Notre Dame's schedule also includes dominant wins over Rice and Stanford, which require different weight. That win shows BYU can beat a top opponent, which matters heading into a hostile road game at Utah.

Looking Ahead to Next Week

The November 9–15 college football schedule keeps contenders on the road. Several upcoming college football games could compound this week's pressure.

Early Lines to Watch

Texas at LSU, Utah at Arizona and USC at Indiana are the early matchups to monitor. Without confirmed Week 11 odds, these remain games to follow before choosing an early position. November 7 results and availability news will help shape expectations. Boise State's quarterback situation also matters ahead of Oregon State's visit, especially if Madsen's knee injury affects another week of preparation.

Potential Ranked Matchups

Based on the current AP poll, Week 11 includes No. 10 Texas at No. 15 LSU, No. 3 Utah at No. 24 Arizona, and No. 18 USC at No. 6 Indiana. No. 19 Missouri visits No. 2 Georgia, while No. 25 Florida travels to No. 8 Kentucky. Rankings could change after Week 10. Most Saturday kickoff times remain undetermined in the upcoming schedule.

Games With Playoff Implications

USC-Indiana brings a significant Big Ten test, while Texas-LSU could leave the loser with less room in the national race. Utah's trip to Arizona follows its rivalry meeting with BYU, creating consecutive challenging assignments. Miami returns home against Duke, and Notre Dame hosts Boston College. Their November 7 meeting will help determine how much pressure accompanies those follow-up games for both programs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Are the Best College Football Bets This Week?

+

Miami +5.5 at Notre Dame is the preferred spread wager. Alabama-LSU under 52.5 (-110) is the strongest totals selection. Miami +164 offers an outright alternative, with greater risk than taking the points. Georgia, Utah and LSU are winner selections only. All wagers use Betcris Arizona odds.

How Are College Football Predictions Made?

+

We compare offensive production, defensive resistance, recent opponents, injuries and venue, with ESPN FPI adding context about team strength. AP rankings identify national standing. The projected outcome then gets compared with the betting line. Picking a winner does not automatically justify backing its spread, particularly when the projected cushion is small.

What Games Have the Biggest Upset Potential?

+

Miami at Notre Dame is our leading upset pick because the Hurricanes have the offense to challenge the Irish and nearly match their FPI rating. Kentucky also has a credible chance at Tennessee following six consecutive wins. That makes Kentucky an upset candidate, without making it an automatic moneyline recommendation.

Where Can I Find the Latest College Football Odds?

+

Betcris Arizona offers current spreads, moneylines and totals for the week's college football games. Compare the number with the recommendation before betting. Miami +5.5 provides different protection from a smaller spread, and an under at 52.5 loses appeal if the total falls.

Which Ranked Teams Play This Week?

+

The ranked matchups are Miami-Notre Dame, BYU-Utah, Georgia-Ole Miss, Alabama-LSU, Texas-Missouri and Kentucky-Tennessee. Other AP Top 25 teams in action include UCLA, Ohio State, Texas Tech, Wake Forest, Houston, Boise State, Iowa, New Mexico, South Carolina, Arizona and Florida. The rankings refer to the current AP poll, rather than ESPN FPI.
