NFC West Odds 2026: Predictions, Standings & Team Analysis
The Los Angeles Rams enter the 2026 NFL season as clear favorites to win the NFC West, but they are chasing the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Seattle finished 14-3 last year, while Los Angeles and San Francisco both went 12-5. Arizona finished 3-14, creating one of the widest gaps between the top and bottom of any division.
The Rams strengthened an already elite roster by acquiring Myles Garrett, Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson. Seattle must replace several important contributors, while San Francisco is again counting on better health. Arizona begins a new era under Mike LaFleur with uncertainty at quarterback. I will look at the current NFC West odds, 2025 standings, team statistics, offseason changes and the factors that could decide the race. I will also identify the best bet, sleeper and team to avoid.

NFC West Division Overview
The NFC West was the NFL’s strongest division last season. Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco each won at least 12 games and reached the playoffs. Arizona finished nine games behind the other three teams, but the Cardinals now begin a rebuild with a new coach and several young offensive pieces.
NFC West Teams
The NFC West includes the Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals. Seattle is the defending division and Super Bowl champion. Los Angeles is the current betting favorite, followed by Seattle and San Francisco. Arizona is priced as a distant outsider after finishing 3-14.
Why the NFC West Race Matters
The race matters because the division produced three playoff teams last season and may again shape the NFC championship picture. Los Angeles owns the shortest Super Bowl odds among all teams at +486, while Seattle is +1153 and San Francisco is +1900. The Rams are also +242 to win the NFC, with Seattle at +545 and San Francisco at +985.
The playoff market expects the top three teams to remain relevant. Los Angeles is -515 to make the playoffs, Seattle is -267 and San Francisco is -150. Arizona is +1646. That separation is significant, but the competition among the Rams, Seahawks and 49ers should remain intense because each team has proven quarterback play and a roster capable of winning important games.
NFC West Odds to Win the Division
Los Angeles is the only NFC West team priced as an odds-on favorite. Seattle remains the leading alternative after winning the Super Bowl, while San Francisco offers a longer price despite another 12-win season. Arizona sits far outside the main race.
Current Odds to Win NFC West
| Team | Division odds |
| Los Angeles Rams | -133 |
| Seattle Seahawks | +222 |
| San Francisco 49ers | +353 |
| Arizona Cardinals | +12519 |
The Rams’ -133 price reflects their league-leading offense, Matthew Stafford’s MVP season and the addition of Garrett. Seattle is +222 despite finishing two games ahead of Los Angeles and winning the championship. San Francisco is +353, while Arizona’s +12519 price shows how far the Cardinals are expected to remain from contention.
NFC West Odds Movement
The NFC odds have consistently placed Los Angeles first, Seattle second and San Francisco third. The safest conclusion is that the Rams became the strongest market choice after adding Garrett, McDuffie and Watson to a 12-win roster.
The NFC West odds win totals show the same picture. Los Angeles has an 11.5-win total, Seattle is at 10.5 and San Francisco is at 9.5. Arizona has the NFL’s lowest total at 3.5. The Rams are also the Super Bowl favorite at +486, while Seattle’s +1153 price places the defending champion well behind Los Angeles. Those numbers show that sportsbooks expect some Seattle regression and a stronger regular season from the Rams.
NFC West Standings and Recent Results
Seattle won the NFC West at 14-3 and earned the NFC’s top seed before completing its season with a Super Bowl victory. Los Angeles and San Francisco both finished 12-5, giving the division three teams with at least 12 wins. Arizona went 3-14 and finished far behind the other contenders.
Final 2025 NFC West Standings
| Team | Record | Points for | Points allowed |
| Seattle Seahawks | 14-3 | 483 | 292 |
| Los Angeles Rams | 12-5 | 518 | 346 |
| San Francisco 49ers | 12-5 | 437 | 371 |
| Arizona Cardinals | 3-14 | 355 | 488 |
Seattle went 8-1 on the road and 6-2 at home. Los Angeles went 7-1 at home, while San Francisco posted a 7-2 road record. Arizona won only one home game and two road games.
What the NFC West Standings Tell Us
The standings show three legitimate contenders and one rebuilding team. Seattle posted the division’s best point differential at plus-191, while Los Angeles finished at plus-172. San Francisco was still strong at plus-66. Arizona ended at minus-133.
Seattle’s 14 wins may be difficult to repeat after several offseason departures, but its scoring margin supports the strength of last year’s championship run. Los Angeles led the division in scoring and came within one victory of the Super Bowl. San Francisco’s 12-win season was impressive because starters missed more than 50 combined games. Arizona’s record and point differential show why its division odds and win total are so long.
NFC West Team-by-Team Breakdown
Each NFC West team enters 2026 in a very different position. Los Angeles is pushing for a championship, Seattle is defending one, San Francisco needs better health, and Arizona is starting over with a new coach and quarterback situation.
Los Angeles Rams Division Outlook
Los Angeles enters 2026 with the division’s most complete roster. Stafford won MVP after throwing for 4,707 yards and 46 touchdowns, while Puka Nacua led the NFL with 129 receptions. The Rams then added Garrett, who set the single-season record with 23 sacks, along with McDuffie and Watson. Davante Adams and Kyren Williams remain important offensive pieces, although receiving depth behind Nacua and Adams is limited. Los Angeles scored a division-high 518 points and went 7-1 at home. At -133, the Rams are expensive, but their offensive production and defensive upgrades justify favorite status.
Seattle Seahawks Division Outlook
Seattle must follow a 14-3 season and the franchise’s second Super Bowl championship. Sam Darnold returns with Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who led the NFL with 1,793 receiving yards, and a receiving group that also includes Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed. The questions begin in the backfield after Kenneth Walker III departed and Zach Charbonnet suffered a torn ACL. Seattle also lost Boye Mafe, Tariq Woolen and Coby Bryant. Still, the Seahawks allowed only 292 points and posted a plus-191 differential. Their +222 price offers more value than Los Angeles, but roster losses make some regression reasonable.
San Francisco 49ers Division Outlook
San Francisco went 12-5 despite starters missing more than 50 combined games. Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, George Kittle and Brock Purdy all missed time, while Christian McCaffrey returned to form and won Comeback Player of the Year. The 49ers added Mike Evans, Christian Kirk and Osa Odighizuwa, but lost Jauan Jennings and enter another season with receiver health questions. The defense ranked 20th in yards and last with 20 sacks, making the returns of Bosa and Warner essential. At +353, San Francisco has a credible path if its stars stay healthy, but the schedule includes extensive travel.
Arizona Cardinals Division Outlook
Arizona begins a new era after finishing 3-14. Mike LaFleur replaces Jonathan Gannon, while Jacoby Brissett is the presumed starter after throwing for a career-high 3,366 yards in 12 starts. The Cardinals drafted running back Jeremiyah Love third overall and still have Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. as young offensive building blocks. However, quarterback uncertainty and a roster with several holes limit expectations. Arizona allowed 488 points and posted a minus-133 differential. Its +12519 division price reflects a rebuilding season in which improvement matters more than seriously challenging the Rams, Seahawks or 49ers.
NFC West Stats to Know
The NFC West statistics show why three teams reached the playoffs and why Los Angeles is favored in 2026. The Rams produced the strongest offense, Seattle combined excellent scoring with the division’s best defense, and San Francisco remained balanced despite its injuries.
Key Offensive Stats
Los Angeles led the division with 518 points, an average of 30.5 per game. Seattle scored 483, or 28.4 per game. San Francisco finished with 437 points and averaged 25.7, while Arizona scored 355 and averaged 20.9.
Stafford led the NFL with 4,707 passing yards and 46 touchdown passes. Nacua caught 129 passes, while Adams led the league with 14 receiving touchdowns. Smith-Njigba produced 1,793 receiving yards, giving Seattle one of the league’s most productive individual seasons. Arizona received 3,366 passing yards from Brissett in 12 starts, but still finished well behind the other three offenses.
Key Defensive Stats
Seattle allowed only 292 points, or 17.2 per game. Los Angeles allowed 346, San Francisco gave up 371 and Arizona surrendered 488.
The Rams strengthened their defense with Garrett after he recorded 23 sacks. Seattle lost several contributors but returns the core of a championship unit. San Francisco presents the biggest contrast. The 49ers won 12 games but ranked last in the NFL with only 20 sacks and 20th in total defense. Arizona allowed 28.7 points per game, the division’s highest figure. Those defensive gaps help explain the enormous separation in the current odds.
NFC West Predictions
The NFC West market reflects a clear top three, but the prices require different levels of confidence. Los Angeles has the strongest roster, Seattle is defending a championship, and San Francisco offers the longest realistic path to first place. Arizona remains outside the main betting conversation.
Best Bet to Win NFC West
Los Angeles at -133 is the best bet. The Rams led the division with 518 points, Stafford won MVP and the roster added Garrett, McDuffie and Watson. Garrett joins a front that already included Byron Young, Kobie Turner and Braden Fiske.
The price requires Los Angeles to win more often than it loses, but the Rams have fewer major weaknesses than their rivals. Seattle lost several contributors, while San Francisco still carries significant health concerns. The Rams also reached the NFC Championship Game before strengthening the defense.
NFC West Sleeper Pick
San Francisco at +353 is the sleeper. The 49ers won 12 games despite extensive injuries and now expect Bosa and Warner back. Purdy, McCaffrey, Evans and Kittle give the offense enough high-end talent to challenge any team.
The concerns are real. San Francisco travels 38,105 miles, has two international games and needs better receiver health. Still, the price is attractive for a team that has won at least 10 games in four of the last five seasons.
NFC West Team to Avoid
Arizona is the team to avoid at +12519. The payout is enormous, but the Cardinals finished 3-14, allowed 488 points and face a schedule tied for the third toughest. A new coach, quarterback uncertainty and a young roster make meaningful improvement possible, but winning this division would require passing three teams that each won at least 12 games last season.
Factors That Could Decide the NFC West
Quarterback play and schedule strength should separate the top three NFC West teams. Los Angeles, Seattle and San Francisco all return proven starters, but each enters 2026 with different expectations and supporting-cast questions.
Quarterback Play
Stafford has the shortest MVP odds among NFC West quarterbacks at +1408. Purdy is next at +2010, followed by Darnold at +3317. Brissett is listed much farther back at +25133.
Stafford is coming off the strongest season, but he enters his age-38 campaign. Darnold must follow a championship year while adjusting to another offensive coordinator. Purdy needs his receivers and Kittle to stay healthy after the offense underwent significant changes. Arizona has the greatest uncertainty because Brissett’s contract situation is unstable, with Gardner Minshew and rookie Carson Beck also available.
Strength of Schedule
San Francisco has the easiest schedule in the division based on opponents’ 2025 winning percentage. The 49ers rank 15th at .497, followed by Seattle at 19th with .514 and Los Angeles at 20th with .516. Arizona ranks 30th at .538, tied for the third-hardest schedule.
The raw ranking favors San Francisco, but its travel demands add another challenge. Seattle and Los Angeles face similar opponent strength, while Arizona receives little schedule relief during its rebuild. The Rams’ roster advantage may be enough to overcome a slightly harder path than San Francisco.
