The MLS is going strong in its third decade of being the top league in the United States and Canada, and this will be the fifth straight season in which the MLS total attendance figure surpasses 10 million fans.

There are no early MLS matches of the soccer games today. The earliest kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. ET as many clubs look to avoid the September heat. Every one of the MLS soccer games scheduled this weekend will be broadcast exclusively on Apple TV, so you will have to subscribe to that streaming service if you want to watch the action live.
Of the soccer matches today, there are some big favorites and some potential playoff matchups. Sporting KC scored in the 5th, 10th, and 16th minutes and appeared set to cruise to an easy win. However, the Union scored four goals in nine minutes midway through the second half, scoring a windfall in live betting for anyone that kept backing Philly.
In other soccer predictions today, I like the San Jose Earthquakes to move back into playoff position with a win over the Portland Timbers. Timo Werner has returned to the lineup for the Earthquakes, and San Jose are in good form with two wins and three draws since a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Minnesota United FC on August 22. The Houston Dynamo are a great pick if you are looking for a favorite too as Sporting Kansas City might be ready to pack it in after blowing a 3-0 lead and are the frontrunners for the Wooden Spoon.

Although global superstar Lionel Messi and Inter Miami won’t be in action until Sunday, there are still plenty of stars to check out.
