There are a lot of great games in college football today. This is the time of year where there are college football games from Tuesday to Saturday, so you will be able to find action five days a week. Ranked teams like Iowa and BYU will be playing conference games on Friday night, while the Arizona Wildcats and other teams will be playing on Saturday, October 10, 2026. College Football Games Today

It’s no surprise that College Gameday will return to an SEC site for one of the biggest games in CFB today. The Alabama Crimson Tide will host the Georgia Bulldogs in a matchup between top SEC teams. That’s one of just two games between ranked teams on the college football 26 schedule this week.

The other game between ranked teams pits the UCLA Bruins against the Oregon Ducks. UCLA will face its toughest test yet when it goes on the road to take on Oregon. The Ducks are double-digit favorites per the college football betting odds even though Dante Moore is considered questionable after suffering a concussion from a nasty hit against USC. If Moore is unable to play, former five-star recruit Dylan Raiola will be the starter once again.

Who Plays Football Today?

Fans of the Arizona Wildcats will have to wake up early to watch their team in action. Arizona will be traveling across the country to face the West Virginia Mountaineers after last week’s big win over previously unbeaten Cincinnati.

Top NCAAF Games on Today’s Schedule

The top two games this Saturday are Georgia at Alabama and UCLA at Oregon. Elsewhere, Indiana is playing 5-0 Nebraska in a potentially tricky game for the defending national champions, and Texas will face Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry at the Texas State Fair.

NCAAF Preview for Today’s Top Matchups

There are many games to choose from today with this NCAAF preview including Arizona at West Virginia. One of the great things about college football is the smorgasbord of games every week with games from morning until night.

Ranked College Football Matchups

There’s no doubt that the most anticipated game in college football today will pit the Alabama Crimson Tide against the Georgia Bulldogs. Alabama is the slimmest of favorites against Georgia, as both teams look to move to 6-0.

UCLA will look to continue its national resurgence with a win over Oregon in CFB today as well. The Bruins aren’t expected to win over the Ducks this week, but they completely dismantled Maryland as a short road favorite two weeks ago.

Conference Games to Watch

Another conference game to keep an eye on is Pittsburgh and North Carolina. The Panthers are 5-0 and ranked in the Top 25, but they are not the same team after star quarterback Mason Heintschel tore his ACL in last week’s win over Virginia Tech. The Tar Heels are only 3.5-point underdogs and could definitely pull off the upset.

College Football Lines Today

There hasn’t been a lot of movement in the college football lines since they were originally released on Sunday afternoon. Alabama was originally a straight pick ‘em against Georgia, and Penn State was listed as a pick ‘em against USC in Happy Valley.

Point Spreads and Moneylines

Initially, Arizona was a 2.5-point favorite over West Virginia in college football odds, but the Wildcats are now a 3-point favorite over the Mountaineers.

College Football Over/Under Lines

The over/under in the Arizona and West Virginia game is currently sitting at 61.5 points.

College Football Predictions Today

It’s not easy to go into Morgantown, especially for a team that is crossing three time zones for a 12 p.m. ET kickoff. Still, I will be taking the Wildcats to win and cover the number in my college football predictions. Arizona is a much better team according to SP+, and this run defense is very good. That led to the Wildcats easily besting Cincinnati last week, and I believe the run defense will again be solid this Saturday.

Predictions for Today’s Biggest Games

When it comes to other college football predictions, I think that Oregon will take care of business against UCLA. The Ducks haven’t missed a beat with Dylan Raiola under center, and he is living up to his hype in this offense. The Bruins have been dominant to this point in the season, but they have not played a team ranked in the top 60 in SP+ yet this year.

Don’t be surprised if Penn State knocks off USC either. Everyone is down on the Nittany Lions after consecutive losses to Wisconsin and Northwestern, but the overall analytics on this team are still very good. The Trojans have not been dominant despite their 5-1 record, and fatigue could be a factor as USC is one of a few teams that has played six games in six weeks to this point.

Potential Upsets to Watch

North Carolina has a good chance of pulling off the upset over Pittsburgh given the injury to Mason Heintschel. The Tar Heels look much more competent on defense in their second season under Bill Belichick, and backup signal caller Holden Geriner has thrown less than 50 passes over the course of his five-year career.

If you are looking for something with longer odds, don’t count out South Carolina against Florida. The Gators may have been exposed last week against Missouri, and the Gamecocks have a playmaker under center and are very good on special teams.

College Football Picks for Today

My college football picks were spot on last week. I won all three of my Best Bets as Arizona covered the number against Cincinnati with plenty of room to spare, Alabama hammered Mississippi State as a moderate road favorite, and Missouri crushed Florida as a home underdog. There is good value in the college football lines this week too, so let’s take a look at the NCAAF expert picks.

Against-the-Spread Picks

South Carolina +13 at Florida
Nebraska +7.5 vs. Indiana
Arizona -3 at West Virginia
Oregon -12 vs. UCLA
Penn State -1.5 vs. USC

Moneyline Picks

North Carolina +160 at Pittsburgh
South Carolina +400 at Florida

College Football Best Bets

There are some solid college football picks given the lines this week. That’s why I have several college football best bets.

Best Bet of the Day

My best bet of the day this week is Oregon. The Ducks should dominate the Bruins in Autzen Stadium, as the Bruins have yet to play a quality opponent. Oregon is battle tested and has one of the best home field advantages in college football, so I believe the Ducks will win by at least two touchdowns.

Best Value Betting Opportunities

Arizona is significantly better than West Virginia per SP+. The Wildcats rank 19th in SP+, while the Mountaineers are ranked 64th in this department. Oddsmakers know that one of the most popular trends involves fading West Coast teams going to the East Coast for early kickoffs, so that explains why the line is set this low. I believe Arizona is simply too good for West Virginia and will win by more than a field goal.

Everyone is down on Penn State, yet the Nittany Lions are favored over USC. That’s because the Nittany Lions are better than they have shown over the last two weeks, and I expect this defense to slow down a USC offense that hasn’t looked as sharp over the last two weeks.

Key Factors Behind Today’s College Football Predictions

As with any college football predictions, injuries and home field advantage play a big part. Big injuries along the offensive line and defensive line often go unnoticed by the media, but they can play a massive role in a game. Quarterbacks can look rather pedestrian if they don’t have talented players keeping the pocket clean, while defensive linemen are now seen as the premier defenders due to their ability to get pressure.

Quarterbacks, Injuries and Team News

Noah Fifita is a big reason why I’m betting on Arizona in this game. Fifita is a four-year starter that was fantastic in 2023 and 2025, and I expect him to have another great season as a senior. He is posting his best quarterback rating yet during his final year in Tucson, and that could make the Wildcats a surprise contender in the Big 12.

Recent Form and Home-Field Advantage

Arizona and West Virginia had never played before the 2024 season. The Mountaineers came into Tucson and defeated the Wildcats 31-26, so Arizona would love to return the favor.
